Polycab's on-grid string inverters convert solar DC into grid power and feed any surplus to the grid through your net meter. They are the standard choice for PM Surya Ghar homes, where the goal is to cut the electricity bill and claim the subsidy, and for shops and offices that have reliable grid supply.
The single phase PSIS range covers 2 to 6 kW in eight steps, so you can match the inverter closely to the panel capacity. The three phase PSIT 5–10 kW models suit homes and shops with a three phase meter. All handle 20 A string current, so they work with today's high-wattage TOPCon panels.

Common questions
Does an on-grid inverter work during a power cut?
No. By design and by regulation, an on-grid inverter shuts down when the grid fails (anti-islanding), so it can't feed power into a line that electricity workers may be repairing. If you need backup, choose a hybrid inverter.
Which size do I need for a 3 kW PM Surya Ghar system?
Usually a 3 kW single phase on-grid inverter. Some installers use 3.6 kW to allow a little more panel capacity. Message us with the panel wattage and count and we'll suggest the model.
Is the Polycab on-grid inverter BIS certified?
Yes. Polycab's catalogue lists IS 16169:2014 for anti-islanding and IS 16221 (Part 2):2015 for safety for the PSIS single phase series.
